The Art of Dealing Positively
with Negative Feelings.

Synopsis of the story

After a brief introduction, a brief three minute readiness quiz precedes the story. This establishes a readiness set for the story when the reader scores oneself.

A single mother works in a small office where she has issues with both co-workers and her boss. She recognizes herself as a conflict avoider and therefore has not learned any method for facing others with her negative feelings. Her eleven year old daughter, a Harry Potter fan, suggests that she find a wizard in her dreams.

In three short dream sequences a Crone teaches her the Win-Win Finesse Method. She must teach it to another before using it, which explaining helps her to understand it further. She applies the method, first of all with a friend, then her woman co-worker, finally the two men in the office, the last of which is her boss. Finally she explains it to a Business Communications class she has just joined. All story situations are real life examples.

The ten short chapter story (c. 30 pp) is followed by a Summary of the Win Win Finesse Method, and .then by 26 actual work examples of managers applying the method in a variety of work settings, and finally in six personal and family settings. This demonstrates the effectiveness of WWF in a wide diversity of applications. The entire book is less than 100 pages.
